Tom Stine |
Tom co-founded Luminous Technology Corporation (an Adobe Systems spin-off), where he led worldwide: marketing, sales, tech-support, distribution and customer service. Prior to the sale of Luminous to Imation, Inc. (a 3M spin-out) he worked as a National Sales Manager at Aldus Corp. in Seattle WA, as Director of Worldwide Sales in Adobe’s Systems Division in Mountain View CA, and as a partner and Vice President Sales & Marketing for Compumation of State College, PA.
Tom is currently principle for a boutique corporate strategy, recovery and M&A advisory firm serving the software and web technologies space. He is also past President and co founder of OmniE Labs, Inc., developer of SO Comply® with which 85 public companies comply with the Section 404 of the Sarbanes Oxley law. OmniE has also assisted 20 early stage firms with business planning, fund raising, and go to market strategies, investing in 6 of them. He also served as CEO of ISM Inc, a capacity & performance management software company, and as President of Exscribe, a HIPAA compliant EMR for clinical Orthopaedic practices.
Tom served in senior sales, management and business development rolls for 3 other technology start-ups dating back to 1983. Tom serves on the Board of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Equi-Librium, and Microlog, Inc (pink sheets). He is also the Board Chairman of the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern PA., As is an active angel and venture investor, he holds positions in several venture funds and early stage companies. He earned a BA from Lehigh University.
